I always enjoy salty dogs, whether I'm alone or with my family. There's plenty to choose from and it's all delicious! I've had the tacos, the Reuben, the Cuban, the salad and even some different items on specials, like the corn beef and cabbage. My kids ordered the quesadilla and it was delicious too! The service is always wonderful. Very friendly staff. And it's always very clean. We will be back!

Amazing service, food, and atmosphere!! The seafood was excellent!! Sadly, we got the last of Cedar Keys' clams since they were wiped out from Helene.

This is my favorite restaurant in downtown Inverness. The prices are reasonable and the baked potatoes are huge. My wife is gluten free and she had no problem finding something she likes to eat. The best thing is that they don't charge a fee for using a credit card!!

We visited for the first time on an early afternoon weekday when the restaurant was not busy. Our server was the only one on the floor, plus the lady behind the bar. The server was very young with a kind and happy personality. She checked on us often and kept drinks full. The menu had a ton of variety, and we also had a specials menu. We ended up choosing the meatloaf special and sausage and pepper sliders. The food came out pretty quickly and was cooked great! I was shocked how large the meatloaf special was for a lunch portion! Also, it was absolutely delicious! My boyfriend loved his sliders. We were overall very happy with the visit and whole experience. Note, I saw a few options for a loaded meat potato on the special menu for only 8! That seems like an amazing deal in today's economy. If I lived in the area, I could see myself being a regular at Salty Dogs. Great vibes all around!

First time eating here. Their website (as of 12/28/23) does not have a lot of pictures and the ones they do have do not do it justice to the quality and taste of the food served. I was extremely surprised. I ordered the roasted Prime Rib sandwich and it was phenomenal. The potatoes au gratin were cooked perfectly. Even the side salad was good. I was honestly surprised at how great it all was. Definitely will be coming back.

The best salad I have ever had. I ordered online and there was no description. Shrimp on greens was all it said. Holy Moses batman! The salad was colorful, fresh, and had so many ingredients, there were two peppers I didn't even know the name to. Lol Plenty of shrimp and they weren't overcooked. It lasted me dinner and lunch. The turkey Ruben was yummy but definitely could have used some more meat and kraut to even out the bread to filling ratio. The coleslaw was tasty. Overall, it was a great order and I'll definitely order out from here again. Thank you to whomever made my dinner!

The location is a step back in time. The Historical Courthouse as your view. Our server Landon was amazing! We chose to sit outside, seeting inside as well. Drinks were quick to the table and our food followed. I had the 1lb of peel and eat Shrimp with roasted potatoes and mom had the Cornbreef and cabbage. The proportions were extra large.
